Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your work will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to cleanliness and efficiency, with a keen eye for detail.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to established procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items such as linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect items for stains or damages before processing.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry facility or hotel environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
