Job Summary:
Holiday Inn Express downtown Gatlinburg is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician Level 2 to join our team for the evening shift. This role is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall safety and functionality of our facility. If you have experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, lighting, and other building systems as needed.
- Respond to guest or staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain records of repairs, work orders, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist with property improvements, renovations, and special projects.
- Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA and company regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, hospitality, or residential setting.
- Skills: Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
