Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC system checks.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other mechanical systems as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident requests and concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
- Experience in supervising staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in a maintenance environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
