We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as needed.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- familiar with basic guest room repairs or working with P tacs.
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide small teams or projects.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent command of the English language for effective communication.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
