Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies such as toiletries and towels.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and perform floor care duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Assist with the cleaning of public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering clean and well-maintained environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
