What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning guest rooms to hotel standards, including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, disposal of trash, etc
- Changing and replenishing bed linens, towels and guest amenities
- Deep cleaning as needed
- Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and notifying supervisor of any damages or problems
- Stocking, maintaining and transporting housekeeping supply cart daily
- Must be able to work quickly with little supervision, while maintaining a high level of performance and adhering to company standards
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to push or pull 50 lbs. and lift/carry 20 lbs.
- Must be able to withstand long periods of standing/walking, bending, crouching and kneeling.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.25 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
