Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain an inviting atmosphere.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other guest essentials.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning rooms efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
