Waterslide Attendant

Position Hours: Fridays 4pm - 10pm, Saturdays: 4pm-10pm

Responsibilities:
· Provide guidance to rules posted for the use of the water slide

· Ensure that guests are adhering to published rules and are being safe while slide is operating

· Ensure that slide is in good repair at all times

· Check chemical levels in pool/spa. Making sure they fall in the required limits according to state law.

· Keep pool area clean and in good condition. Making sure that towels are stocked.

· Provide excellent customer service to all guests, review GRI scores on a regular basis to learn how we can improve our commitment to our guests.

· Assist in training new team members as well as continue training to improve system knowledge.

· Follow all policies and procedures set forth by management, brand guidance, as well as Management Company.

· Work with other department teams to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and best practices for the hotel. At times needing to step into other departments to assist in finishing a task.

· Respond to all guest requested in a timely manner.

· Other duties as assigned or as needed to create signature moments for our guests.

· Continue to keep work areas, lobby, and back of house clean and organized at all times.

Skills:
· Knowledge of state laws and regulations regarding the use of pool and slid area.

· Flexibility in order to be a team player and ensure the proper staffing at all times

· CPR and first aid certified.

· Ability to defuse a potential problem situation confidently.

· Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines

· Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates

· Develops effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies

· There are times when you may have to deal with an unhappy person; you do need to know how to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
