What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express Augusta North?
This position is primarily responsible for cleaning public areas, guest rooms and bathrooms. Other duties include stocking supply carts, room deep-cleaning projects, and assisting with other duties as needed.
Key duties include:
- Clean and replenish guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, and linen and terry
- Clean and organize carts and storage rooms
- Empty trash
- Strip rooms of linen
- Assist employees in other departments with various assignments, such as assisting with breakfast and laundry.
- Perform duties in accordance with Safety and Security Policies and Procedures. Perform duties in accordance with OSHA, HAZCOM and Blood Borne Pathogens regulations and other applicable state and local regulations (Complete Frontline Training)
- Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures that are not working properly
- Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures
- Cleaning experience is preferred
