Housekeeper (Part-Time)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by housekeeping management.

Skills

• Proficient in various floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
• Strong background in hospitality with an understanding of guest service expectations.
• Ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience in hotel or custodial environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods is a plus for larger facilities.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
