- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls efficiently and relay messages to guests as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in training new front desk staff members as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a hotel or resort setting.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit procedures preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; multilingual abilities are a plus.
