Job Overview
We are seeking a IHG hotel experienced professional and customer-focused outgoing Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable and welcoming experience. You will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Duties
- Greet and register guests in a positive, energetic and friendly manner, handling all aspects of the check-in and check-out process.
- Provide exceptional guest services, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Utilize computerized hotel systems to manage guest reservations, check-in/check-out, and update guest information.
- Handle all front desk operations, including answering phone calls, responding to voicemails, and addressing guest concerns.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization within the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
- Provide information and recommendations to guests regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
Experience
- Previous IHG hotels experience.
- Experience with OPERA and related hotel software.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to handle a variety of situations and guests in a calm, friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and hotel staff.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage, allowing for communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hotel environment and guest services.
- Experience with front desk operations and hotel management software.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in a second language, including Spanish, French, or other languages.
- Familiarity with phone systems and computerized hotel systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
