The Holiday Inn Express Charlotte Concord is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor/Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team! The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at the front desk, working closely with the Assistant General Manager to ensure exceptional customer service and financial efficiency. The role requires flexibility to train across all three shifts and be on call for call-outs. Key duties include:
- Daily Financial Management: Ensure payments are processed daily and any outstanding guest balances are addressed promptly.
- Assist with Financial Planning: Help the General Manager analyze front desk-related financials to drive revenue and profitability.
- Follow Company Policies: Ensure all front desk staff understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory related to front desk supplies and equipment.
- Cost Control: Manage front desk costs while maintaining high-quality service.
- Solve Operational Issues: Identify any issues with front desk operations and resolve them quickly.
- Assist with Check-ins/Check-outs: Help the front desk team during busy check-in and check-out times.
- Guest Feedback: Communicate with guests to gather feedback, monitor guest satisfaction scores, and respond to reviews.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Team Development: Monitor front desk staff performance, provide training, and address errors immediately. Set performance goals and offer coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Staff Meetings and Evaluations: Conduct regular front desk staff meetings, employee evaluations, and reward outstanding performance.
- Hiring and Training: Recruit, interview, and train new front desk team members. Must be able to train staff across all three shifts.
- Ensure Proper Staffing: Ensure the front desk is always adequately staffed during all shifts.
- On Call for Call-Outs: Be available on call for staff call-outs to ensure proper staffing at all times.
MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO COVER CALL OUTS / SHIFT COVERAGE FOR ALL SHIFTS.
MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH OPERA PMS.
