The Holiday Inn Express Edgewood is looking for a Front Desk Guest Service Representative who is able to work_ 3-4 Morning shifts and possibly some Evening shifts during peak season_ to join our team. Applicants with previous hotel experience are preferred. We are located 30 minutes north of Baltimore in Harford County.

**PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE**
Duties include:
*7am-3pm Morning Shift and some 5pm-11pm shifts during busy peak season are required on certain days
- Check- in and check-out of guests efficiently in a friendly manner.
- Provide high level quality of guest service.
- Assist any guests with in-room issues.
- Answer switchboard of all telephone calls with proper etiquette.
- Provide a friendly experience to all guests arriving/departing
- Check efficiently all guest ID's and credit cards during check-in process.
- Respond to guest inquires at the hotel and/or over the phone.
- Promptly and efficiently handling all guest issues/complaints with courtesy and empathy
- Post guest charges and collecting all cash payments per hotel guidelines.
- Work with other front desk staff members on resolving any problems/issues.
- Create/modify guest reservations and communicate hotel policies to all guests.
- Block rooms of all groups staying at the hotel.
- Navigate room availability as well as housekeeping tasks through the hotel's operating system.
- Set up housekeeping tasks in the mornings.
- Any other tasks will be given if necessary.
