Full job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in our hotel laundry room and common areas.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques to ensure quality results.
- Dry linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions
- Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
- Restock carts and floors with linen for easy access.
- Help maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and enhancing guest satisfaction.
