Hotel Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with laundry services as required, ensuring all linens are cleaned and stored properly.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
