Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, performing a variety of maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and repair work, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, HVAC repairs, and general repairs
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventative maintenance, and maintain accurate records
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally
• Fabricate components or structures as necessary to support maintenance operations
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces
• Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and tenants
• Proficient in fabrication techniques
• Strong command of English for effective communication in both verbal and written forms
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and repairing various systems
• Experience in residential painting is desirable but not mandatory
• HVAC Certification (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
