Overview:
Holiday Inn Express is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel operations and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient management of all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring that all brand standards are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing staff to uphold the highest levels of professionalism and service.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and improve guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve operational goals, including revenue targets and quality performance metrics.
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations is required, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
