We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Castle PA. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's facilities and ensuring a comfortable environment for our guests. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel facilities are in optimal condition.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Utilize logic controllers for various maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Supervise minor repair projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to work with logic controllers and perform basic electrical repairs.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise small teams when necessary.
