Breakfast Hosts and Hostesses are employed as actors to ensure a happy and welcoming experience for every guest. BH’s are “on stage” when in any location that is visible to the guest. They ensure the highest level of services possible in a friendly, authentic, caring, and thoughtful manner by following standards of aggressive hospitality and adhering to guidelines and procedures. BH’s represent our Hotel to all guests. They respond courteously and efficiently to guest needs; act as a source of information about the Hotel and the local area, and assist guests during breakfast.Responsibilities and job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest, responds promptly to any guest request for service.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in an assembly kitchen environment.
• Maintain a clean food preparation area
• Prepare simple dishes, dressings and foods according to brand directions.
• Check for adequate supply of foods and seasonings.
• Maintain and operate kitchen equipment with a “safety first” mindset and prepares and serves food using safe food handling and storage guidelines.
• Assist other departments within the hotel when necessary to help with guest needs
• Operate the functional areas of the kitchen
• Significant portion of the day is spent moving about, speaking and listening, usually while standing up.
• Close interactions with staff and guests is essential in this position to ensure guest satisfaction
• Must have the ability to lift, pull, and carry items weighing approximately 25 pounds which occurs a majority of the time. Lifting, pulling or assisting in carrying item weighing 50 pounds or greater occurs occasionally.
• This is a part time position. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to weekends. Shifts are 6am - 10:30am. Experience in hospitality is not required.
• One year of customer service experience is required
