Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping, laundry and breakfast staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good condition.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize staff productivity while ensuring thorough cleaning of all areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and incident reports.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices in a hospitality environment.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or hotel housekeeping management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
