What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cedar City, Utah?
We are now seeking a laundry attendant to join our team! We are looking for part time laundry person for Saturdays 10 am to 6 pm, other days will vary.
The laundry attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding and distributing all soiled linen and towels. Keeping room tidy!
Physical requirements
- 8 hours
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of lifting, carrying, pulling and moving objects
- Ability to stand entire shift
General requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listing to, understanding and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize
- Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels and rags
- Sort all hotel linen accordingly
- Pre-treat all stained linen before washing
- Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment
- Fold towels and linen
- Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
- maintain clean work area
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

- Every weekend
