Job Title: Guest Service Representative

Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites

Salary Range: $14 per hour

Overview:
As a Guest Service Representative at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, addressing guest inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Interaction: Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and any special requests.
• Reservation Management: Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Problem Solving: Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, handle payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Operational Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.

Requirements:

• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and guest information.
• Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills; experience with Opera PMS is preferred but not required.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to assist team members when needed.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel management software is a plus but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
