Job Summary: As a Housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express, you will play a vital role in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces while adhering to brand standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and restocking amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
- Replenish linen, towels, and supplies in guest rooms and storage areas.
- Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are properly used, cleaned, and stored.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25-30 lbs frequently.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends and holidays.
