- $13.50hr
- Shift begins at 8am
- End of shift can vary - will depend on the amount of checkout's and the amount of stayovers.
- Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and Holiday availability are a must
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extreme attention to detail
- Assists in insuring the quality housekeeping work meets hotel standards by inspecting rooms cleaned by housekeepers
- Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately.
- Support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms as needed
- Checking unoccupied units for proper thermostat settings, lights turned off, unauthorized use of rooms, maintenance deficiencies
- Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings (e.g., appliances, furniture, ice bucket, baseboards, entrance door)
- Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, elevators, stairwells.
- Communicate with the Front Office staff of any housekeeping delays or issues and make necessary changes to room status.
- Communicate with maintenance as needed to ensure unacceptable rooms are not released back to inventory until items are addressed
- Perform open and closing procedures for the Housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Provides support to Executive Housekeeper to ensure that guest satisfaction scores meet or exceed brand benchmarks.
- Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
