Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and assisting with any guest needs to enhance their stay. A strong focus on guest relations and hotel management is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
  • Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and communicate with guests.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of guest service.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective guest relations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
