The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Omaha Downtown in Old Market is seeking a responsible, reliable and service-driven Front Office Agent to join our phenomenal team and grow within our ever-expanding company! As a full-time Front Desk Agent, you will have a natural hunger to learn and grow as you are the go-to person, ensuring that guests feel welcome and comfortable!

TYPICAL HOURS : 11pm - 7am
Essential duties and functions :
Operate the front desk according to standard operating procedures and with superior guest serviceComplete IHG Brand Training to learn about program and membershipOperate with accuracy the reservation system, check-in and checkout system and credit card system, following all safety and security proceduresCheck registration (folio) cards for completeness, accuracy, and legibilityKnow emergency procedures and how to respondBe knowledgeable of hotel promotionsUnderstanding of building-exterior and interiorKnow where the closest shopping, convenience store and gas station isComplete daily reports, checklists, or audits correspondences etc. as required by your shiftKeep lobby and office area clean at all timesSet wake-up calls as dictated by your shiftTake and confirm credit cards for validity and acceptabilityCreate incident reports for guest injuries / issues when requiredTake and record reservations with accuracy, confirm as requestedResolve guest complaintsMaintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standardsMaintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress codePerforms any other duties as requested by supervisorEmployee benefits and perks!
