The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, while ensuring accuracy in the hotel management system.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day.
- Utilize phone systems to respond to incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist multilingual guests by providing information in their preferred language when possible.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality management.
- We are hiring for both part time and full time positions. Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
- Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for effective communication with guests.
- or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
