Job Description:
Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Panama City, FL, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. If you take pride in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring guests experience fresh and high-quality linens, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Operate washing, drying, and folding machines to process linens, towels, and other hotel laundry items.
- Sort, inspect, and pre-treat stained or damaged linens before washing.
- Fold and organize cleaned linens and restock storage areas as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with inventory and keep records of linens used and laundered.
- Support housekeeping staff by providing clean linens in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
