We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within our establishment. As a Room Attendant, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the housekeeping management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, and other public areas within the hotel.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Adhere to all hotel policies regarding safety, security, and guest privacy.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as necessary while maintaining a safe working environment.
