Hotel -- Front Desk Agent >> Get Started in Hospitality Now
Excellent opportunity for a university student, business or hospitality major.
Please read: This position is for an immediate hire, full or part time. You must be available to work from 7 am-3 pm and 3 pm-11 pm training on both shifts.
Upon completing and learning the front desk am and pm shift tasks, you will also train in the night audit position 11 pm -7am. The ideal candidate must be willing and interested to work the night audit shift as needed.

This position is responsible:
- For the 100% satisfaction of our guests at check in; check out and fulfilling their requests during their stay
- Our successful night auditor and front desk agents perform all check in and out procedures, assign and disburse room keys, inform guests about hotel services and the city, answer telephones as needed, post charges, handle and balance cash and credit card transactions daily in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
- Responds to guest requests promptly; promotes hotel services, facilities and outlets; provides guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction
- For ensuring efficiency, accuracy, quality, consistency, cleanliness, excellent customer service to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing assigned duties
- Responsible for accurately calculating and verifying room revenues, food and beverage sales and income
- Performing front desk, switchboard and reservations activities during their shift to the quality standards set by the property and at the same time meeting all efficiency goals
- Ensures exceptional guest service through communication and follow-up with employees and customers.
Job Requirements:
- 1 years of hotel night audit and/or front desk experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred
- Prior experience working on Opera property management system a plus
- Organizational skills, multi-task and detail-oriented.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a team player
- Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills
- Problem Solver - Skilled in handling guests issues and resolving them
- Professional Appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality
- Required to work some nights, weekends and holidays based on schedule
