What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Union Gap?
As the night house-person you will be responsible for responding promptly to requests from guests, and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issue's in public areas and guest rooms. Perform various public spaces cleaning tasks to maintain guest rooms, working areas, and the hotel premises, as well as keeping up on laundry throughout the evening.
Tasks can include:
- Cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
- cleaning hallways, and restrooms.
- Sweep and mop floors
- Dusting public spaces
- Collect soiled linen and take to laundry room.
- Walk all assigned floors at beginning and during shift to collect trash from guest rooms
- Deliver towels, cribs, and other items to guest rooms upon request.
- Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following standard operating procedures.
- Communicate with Front desk and other departments to support common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Must be able to work as a team player.
Must be customer orientated and great customer service (you will be interacting with guest)
Must be reliable, and ready to help wherever needed.
