The Assistant Guest Services Manager is a full-time position with benefits that will help our Guest Services Manager lead our Guest Services Department and ensures that our hotel provides the best service in the region. Experience is not necessary as we can teach you the hospitality industry, but we are looking for a great fit with our team who possess a can-do, positive attitude, a teachable spirit, and a leadership style that serves others first rather than self. They will be able to communicate well through both verbal and written and provide exceptional customer service with a smile and able to able to think on their feet in order to resolve guest issues as, or before, they arise.

Essential Job Responsibilities
· Filling in shifts if front desk team members are absent. This includes serving as a first line on-call as needed 24 hours a day – Including Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, & Holidays.
· Acts as Manager on Duty on assigned front desk shifts: Makes and modifies reservations; checking in guests, checking out guests, and providing exceptional guest services to all of our guests.
· Demonstrates a commitment to serving the needs of our guests when answer the phone, making and processing reservations, and responding to guest and team member questions and requests
· Monitors guest feedback and helps resolve any concerns in a fair and timely manner.
· Helps lead Guest Services Operations including, but not necessarily limited to, overseeing market stock & purchases and works with GSM to ensure pricing is profitable and up to date. Helping keep up with non-team facing front desk responsibilities such as irregular reservations, keeping files organized and updated (tax exempts, cc authorizations, etc.). Maintaining basic inventory of front desk and office supplies such as room keys, key packets, toner, paper, etc. and letting GM team know when items need to be ordered. Overseeing and coordinating guest meetings and events as well as hotel lost and found.
