Responsibilities
- Staff management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff
- Cleaning standards: Establish and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures
- Budgeting: Prepare annual housekeeping budgets and ensure supplies are stocked
- Customer service: Respond to customer complaints and share guest compliments with staff
- Safety and security: Develop and implement safety and security protocols
- Training: Train new employees and educate others on housekeeping practices
- Problem solving: Handle guest issues professionally and solve problems for a variety of issues
