Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train, mentor, and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the establishment.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and supply usage.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is essential.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and safety protocols related to cleaning operations.
