Job description
- Clean and service assigned rooms including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash/rubbish, and all living space of guest rooms
- Wear safety protection equipment as provided
- Handle and store chemicals in line with requirements
- Greet and acknowledge in-house guests
- Report any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures
- Report to supervisor/maintenance needed repairs or unsafe conditions
- Follow established safety procedures at all times. Immediately report any suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty
- Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
- Turn in all lost and found items according to established procedures
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
- May assist with other duties as assigned
Weekends and holidays are required.
Hours range from:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Saturday and Sunday 10am - 6pm
Full Time hours will range from 30-40 per week. Employees that average 30 hours or more per week are eligible for health insurance, life insurance, 401K, paid vacations, paid holidays & team member travel discounts.
