Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that align with industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality and custodial services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care maintenance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
