Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in housekeeping management, with a focus on delivering exceptional service in a hotel or similar environment. This role requires effective leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and high-quality service.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that align with industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality and custodial services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and floor care maintenance.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
