Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in a hotel setting. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store items according to established procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and follow dry cleaning protocols when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality.
• Experience in hotel laundry operations or similar environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
