What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites?
We are looking for an experienced Room Attendant to work at our busy hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of daily housekeeping, including preparing rooms for new guests, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting furniture and cleaning bathrooms daily. This position requires physical strength as well as emotional stamina, as the Room Attendant must have excellent customer service skills to deal with problems or concerns quickly and diplomatically.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate a vacuum and cleaning tools.
- Must be able to hear and understand instructions from supervisors and guests.
- Must be able to work on some weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.75 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
