Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, and grounds are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. This includes minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting with larger projects.
General Maintenance and Repairs:
- Minor Repairs: Addressing issues like replacing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, repairing minor electrical or plumbing problems, and patching vinyl.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implementing scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent future problems, such as inspecting HVAC systems, electrical panels, and other equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and grounds, including cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash.
- Exterior Maintenance: Cutting, pruning, and watering lawns and plants, cleaning sidewalks and parking lots.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of repair equipment, supplies, and tools, and replenishing supplies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assisting Skilled Tradespeople: Helping with larger projects and tasks that require specialized skills, such as electrical or plumbing work.
- Safety: Reporting any unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Work Orders: Completing work orders for repairs and maintenance requests.
- Communication: Communicating with staff and guests about maintenance needs.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
