Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Answer phone calls promptly using hotel phone systems, addressing guest inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and urgency, ensuring satisfaction.
- Perform night audit duties as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations by demonstrating hospitality management principles.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage; training will be provided as necessary.
- Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
