Assistant General Manager
Our team is looking for a leader who is wanting to grow and better our hotel as well as yourself. As the Assistant General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express, you must have an open schedule as this is a salaried position. Hotel management experience is mandatory. It is preferred if you have IHG, Hilton, Marriot experience. Please be willing to learn as well as lead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with individuals/groups and be comfortable in social situations
- Establish and maintain guest service standards that exceed guests' expectations.
- Manage Guest and Employee relations.
- Assist with monitoring financial performance and control costs pursuant to the annual operating budget.
- Assist with maintaining the property
- Supervise individual department employees who are responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the hotel.
- Direct, coordinate and evaluate the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance departments.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities
- Train, supervise and schedule hourly employees.
- Cover front desk shifts as needed.
- Address hotel guest and employee complaints, and resolve accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
