We are looking for an energetic, customer service oriented individuals with self leadership qualities to fill following Hotel Front Desk position.
- Night Auditor (Part-Time). Shift is from 11pm to 7am (including Fridays and Saturdays)
The award winning Best Western Silicon Valley Inn is a 100-room, limited service hotel in Sunnyvale. We pride ourselves in excellent guest service in an intimate environment.
We are currently seeking service-oriented candidates for above position who will be responsible for assisting guests efficiently and courteously in all front office and hotel- related functions.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Check in/ check out of hotel guests
- Reservations
- Concierge services
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries
- Communicate with other departments efficiently to fulfill guest needs
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Ideal Candidate will:
- Be service-oriented - willing and able to go above and beyond for our guests
- ** Have prior hotel Guest Services experience; hotel experience preferred but not required ~ training will be provided**
- Be computer literate and have math skills
- Be articulate and professional in manners
- Be able to pass a background check
- Be able to weekends, and/or holidays ~ Flexibility is a must!
- Be detailed-oriented, organized, neat and be able to multi-task
- Be able to take directions and work in a team environment
- Be a Quick learner and able to Think laterally
- Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Be able to stand and work for extended hours
- At minimum, is a high-school graduate and comfortable using a computer.
- Have reliable mode of transport to get to work on time.
Hourly wages starts at $19.00 up to $21.00 per hour based on experience.
