What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Holiday Inn Express?
Weekends are a must!
General Hours are from 8am-2pm the time that you would be done is based on the number of rooms that were rented that day.
Duties and responsibilities of our housekeeping attendant include:
- Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure
- Cleaning bathrooms (tubs, sinks, toilets)
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors, etc.
- Making beds
- Replacing dirty linens and towels
- Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, coffee cups, notepads, etc.
- Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts
You must be able to for the following for up to 8 hrs a day.
- Push/pull a housekeeping cart
- Stand, walk, or kneel for an extended period of time
- Lift or move heavy objects, like mattresses or chairs
- Use hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
If you’ve never worked in a housekeeping department, that’s okay! We will train the right person.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
