Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. Previous experience in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality is highly valued.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
• Assist in the training of new housekeeping staff as needed.
• Uphold the standards of housekeeping management by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality standards is a plus.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
