Duties:
- Assist with overseeing the housekeeping operations of a commercial cleaning company or hospitality establishment
- Ensure that all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
- Enforce implemented cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Assist with training and supervising housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance or front desk, to ensure smooth operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is required
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of custodial operations, including laundry procedures, is preferred
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry, particularly hotel housekeeping, is a plus
