Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Sanitate bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care as necessary to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings as required.
- Maintain an organized cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to regularly.
- Provide exceptional service while interacting with guests or residents, addressing any concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in hotel or commercial environments is a plus.
- Skills in cooking or food preparation may be beneficial for roles that require meal service alongside cleaning duties.
