What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS?
Need a breakfast / house keeping attendant they are responsible for setting up complimentary breakfast items for our guest, food preparation; cleaning and closing the breakfast area after 9:30 am. The hours start at 6:00/7:00 Must be customer service oriented as you will be tending to our valued guests.
Breakfast / Cleaning duties:
- Follow the IHG way of serving breakfast.
- Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
- Making order of food supplies.
- Preparing foods items.
- Stocking coffee, juice and milk machines or dispensers.
- Setting out / arranging food.
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated,Wiping up spills,Removing trash.
- Deep cleaning breakfast area once a week.
- Washing serving equipment and returning it to storage.
- Returning reusable food supplies to storage with proper dates on product.and trash out all collected garbage.
- Following city guidelines on food prep, storage, sanitation and other items the inspector gives to the hotel.
- Cleaning Public Bathrooms.
- Cleaning all the public area on all the floors .
- Helping in laundry whenever needed,deep cleaning of rooms or public area and taking out all public area garbage.
