Holiday Inn Express is looking for an individual that can work independently and has the ability to trouble shoot simple maintenance tasks.
Your Day Might Include
- Performing minor trouble shooting and maintenance of hotel equipment such as fridges
- Checking in with the Manager and Housekeeping staff regarding work orders and need repairs
- Repairing a leaking shower
- Checking the Pool and Spa chemicals
To be successful in this position you will need a general knowledge of power tools, equipment, and building materials. 2 years in a similar field is recommended. Maintenance duties can be physically demanding. Please know that you will spend most of your shift on your feet standing, climbing, walking, and kneeling. You will often need to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, this is not the job for you. However, If you're the person all your friends and family are always calling you when they have a leak, crack, or drip, then you are the person we want!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
