We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. In collaboration with our dedicated sales professionals, this role will play a pivotal part in maintaining and expanding our business across various market segments. The ideal candidate will excel in account management, business development, prospecting, market research, and fostering strong community and industry relationships.
Our Sales team sells for both our local properties. The Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown Duluth, and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Duluth North.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize sales efforts.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
As a member of our sales team, you will participate in developing and implementing the hotel’s sales and marketing plans. You will be provided with an established account list, a target account list, and tools for uncovering new accounts. This position involves meeting with new clients, providing timely follow-ups, and hosting property tours.
Requirements
- Experience in corporate sales and account management preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
- Strong business development skills and market research abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred
